Politicians who attempt to influence God’s will during the impending general elections in 2023 will die, according to the spiritual head of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.
In his New Year’s address, the cleric told his followers and the thousands of worshipers who flocked to his international headquarters in Calabar to hear him speak that the country’s theatrics and deceptive tendencies have reached their limit.
He believes that this year will be highly important for Nigeria’s future. He insisted that God would provide the nation with the leader it deserves and said that God in heaven had heard the cries of the people.
He said,
“Those who are bent on manipulating the will of God and my people shall go six feet down because enough is enough”
He continued by emphasizing that those who lie about their fellow countrymen and brothers in order to win favor will face the wrath of God.
“If you don’t refrain now from this malicious act, you shall see what shall happen to you,”.
