Former board chairman of the Northern Nigeria Flour Mills Plc (NNFM), Aminu Dantata, claims to no longer relish life.
When the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima and Kano governor Abdullahi Ganduje paid him a visit on Tuesday, the 91-year-old business magnate made this statement.
In May, he recorded 91.
The majority of the friends Dantata, who claims to have visited every state in the union and created, are still living, he can hardly name ten of them, he claimed.
He asked for pardon from those he had offended and declared that he had pardoned all those who had done so.
“In fact, I am the only one left in my family living with grandchildren,” Dantata said.
“May God not leave us with our efforts alone. We pray for his continued guidance and protection.”
In addition, the senior politician thanked Shettima and Ganduje for their visit and wished for long-lasting peace in the nation.
