Bright Okpocha, often known as Basketmouth, is a prominent Nigerian comedian and actor. He recently announced his divorce from Elsie in an Instagram post, however, he has since removed it.
On December 22, 2022, the father of two issued a message via his Instagram page pleading with the public to respect their privacy as they begin their separate new lives apart.
This occurs just three months after Basketmouth failed to honor their wedding anniversary on November 6, 2022, but did celebrate his wife’s 44th birthday on September 14, 2022.
Elsie, who appeared unconcerned by the public comment, used her Instagram account to address a hot topic of women cooking for their lovers.
Cooking for a man while you’re dating is no big deal, but a woman needs to know when to stop, according to the comedian’s former wife.
She added that cooking or doing housework for a man does not impact the decision to marry a lady and that a lady must be vigilant to identify when the man is taking advantage of her.
She further discreetly implied that things were not going well in their marriage when she posted Christmas family photos on Instagram without her husband.
Despite several comments and inquiries on her posts, Elsie ignored them and didn’t offer any commentary on the letter of divorce from her spouse.
