Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, dropped a stunning N149 million on a personalized diamond pendant.
Davido enjoys purchasing upscale goods, and his most recent purchase occurred a few days after his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony.
His buddy Tunde Ednut tweeted the pendant, saying that it is a lovely way to conclude the year and is worth $200,000 in jewels.
He wrote:
“What a way to end the year 2022? FIFA boy, DAVIDO’S brand new EMERALD Custom Piece with OVER 70cts of Diamonds is ready. This chain worth $200,000. Damn! $200,000 = N149,000,000″
While Davido received many congratulations, other online critics criticized him for the purchase, saying it was made too soon in light of the passing of his son Ifeanyi.
