Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has hinted that a new album will be released in March 2023.
After performing energetically with Trinidad Cardona and Aisha at the FIFA World Cup championships in Qatar, the singer revealed on Twitter that she will be releasing a new album in March 2023.
In a post, Davido, who had just recently returned to social media after the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, invited his followers to look forward to his musical comeback in March 2023 and included an emoji of a music track.
In Davido’s words:
Remember that since his son Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned in the swimming pool of his father’s banana island estate in November, artist Davido has stayed off social media.
Prior to his performance at the world cup finals that day, the singer returned to social media on Sunday, December 20, and released love photos of himself and Chioma taken while they were vacationing in Qatar. This suggests that the artist is gradually coming to terms with the death of his son.
