While discussing her weight loss struggle, Nollywood actress and singer Monalisa Stephen criticized Teniola Apata, often known as Teni, for her message.
Teni emphasized that she had always eaten whatever she wanted to eat in her new year’s greeting, which was published in the early hours of Sunday, January 1.
But she stated that she wasn’t prepared to pass away because it started to affect her health.
In a video message, Teni encouraged anyone in need of encouragement to look up to her and offered before and after pictures of herself.
While wishing her followers a happy new year, she emphasized that nothing is impossibly difficult.
The plus-sized actress criticized the singer via her Instagram stories on Sunday in response to Teni’s disclosure of her weight loss journey, claiming that she has no business telling others what to do with their bodies.
She added that despite being overweight, she does not view herself as unhealthy.
Teni responds
The singer of “Uyo Meyo” responded to Monalisa’s remark on Twitter by stating that she will not argue with her.
She tweeted: “I ain’t going back and forth with no d*mb Monalisa, that ain’t who Lojay sang about.”
