It is conceivable for Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, to win the 2023 presidential election, according to the Emir of Katsina State, Abdulmumin Kabir.
When the Atiku campaign team visited him on Tuesday at his palace in Katsina, Dr. Kabir made the statement.
While lamenting the current state of affairs in the nation, the Katsina Emir stated he will only pray for candidates who are prepared to address the insecurity issue there.
He commended Atiku for saying that, if elected president in 2023, he will work to combat the nation’s problems with poverty and insecurity.
Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State and Atiku’s running mate, as well as Senator Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP national chairman, and other former governors and senators, are among those traveling with Atiku to Katsina for the rally.
