The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, joyously celebrated the arrival of his seventh wife, Olori Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, today, during a grand traditional wedding ceremony.
Videos shared by City People TV captured the new Queen showcasing her dancing skills before being warmly escorted into the palace by the women of the court.
The remarkable ceremony took place on the evening of Friday, May 19th, at the majestic Ile Odua Palace in Ile-Ife.
In another video, the Ooni of Ife and his other queens were seen extending a warm welcome to the newest addition to the royal family.
Gidi Trends previously reported that the palace had sent out invitations to relatives and esteemed guests for the wedding thanksgiving service and reception of the new Queen, Olori Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda. This special occasion is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.
The festivities will commence with the traditional entry of the Queen into the ancient and revered Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife.
This wedding thanksgiving follows a few months after the esteemed Yoruba monarch tied the knot with his sixth wife, Princess Temitope Adesegun.
