Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, a fast-rising artist, has described his ascent to prominence.
In an interview with Echo Room, the contentious singer emphasized that he wasn’t renowned because of singer Olamide or dancer Poco Lee.
He claimed that because he was highly known before they got in touch with him, he rose to fame on his own.
Speaking about how he met Poco Lee and Olamide, Portable mentioned how people would find one another when their moment of fame has arrived. He disclosed that they communicated with him via DMS.
When discussing his journey to popularity, Portable stressed once more that nobody made him become the person he is now. He acknowledged that God and his admirers had helped shape who he is today.
He recalled his difficult early years and said that, despite people’s praise for his fame, he never agreed with them because he lacked money, a car, or the means to travel extensively.
