Afro-beats star Ruger has been criticized for being arrogant by Nigerian social media commentator Daniel Regha.
He called the artist out for bragging that his most recent single, Asiwaju, climbed at the top of the music charts.
Even though the song has reached the number-one slot, according to Regha, there is no guarantee that it will remain popular.
He asserted that Asiwaju is not an exception and brought up a recent finding that musicians pay streaming farms to promote their songs online.
Regha tweeted;
”Ruger is bragging about his song Asiwaju peaking at No. 1; But it’s not just by dominating charts, will the song stand the test of time? Cos the song !sn’t unique. Besides, it’s no news that artistes nowadays dominate the charts with the help of payo!a & bot streams. No shades.”
