Musician Yonda apologized to Davido on Instagram following their dispute last year.
In a January 2021 interview, Yonda, one of Davido’s DMW signees, said that DMW had “violated” him.
He claimed that he would have to leave Davido’s record company because things weren’t “rosy” for him there.
Yonda, who was a featured artist on Davido’s A Good Time album, has since apologized to Davido on Instagram almost two years after the interview.
He published a screenshot of an apology message he made to Davido.
He described how the industry has “blacklisted” him and pleaded for Davido to accept him as a wayward son.
“Baddest, don’t leave me hanging. Please, let me rise again,” he wrote.
He added that his “career is dead” and vowed to be Davido’s “slave” if he is taken back.
He called Davido his “Lord” and begged for mercy.
Reacting, Davido wrote that he missed Yonda but added, “you hurt me.”
