Tobi Owomoyela, aka Peteru, a fast-rising comedian from Nigeria, has passed away.
Peteru, who is well-known in the comedy world for, among other things, his ability to imitate others, was reported to have died on December 21, 2022.
His cause of death has not yet been fully established as of the filing of this report. But several of his coworkers have posted about his passing on social media.
Prior to his passing, Peteru was a fast-rising comedian who had established himself in the South-West of Nigeria after working with the biggest names in the entertainment business. He was an MC and an on-air personality in Ibadan as well.
