The Federal Government has set the following dates as public holidays for Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day in 2023: Monday, December 26, Tuesday, December 27, and Monday, January 2, 2023.
This information was released on Friday in Abuja by Dr. Shuaib Belgore, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Government, on behalf of Interior Minister Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Aregbesola wished Christians and all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora a happy Christmas and New Year this year. He told Christians to follow the teachings of Christ in faith, hope, and love.
