As a result of the injuries she got from the stampede at the music concert by singer Asake in Brixton Academy, United Kingdom, a 23-year-old female security guard named Gabriella Hutchinson has passed away.
The victim, who was employed as a contracted security contractor at the performance, passed away on Monday at the hospital, according to the Daily Mail, four days after the incident on Thursday night.
After Rebecca Ikumelo, 33, died on Saturday, Hutchinson became the incident’s second victim to pass away.
A third woman, 21, who was still being treated, was revealed to be in critical condition by the Metropolitan Police.
Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, policing commander for Lambeth and Southwark, said, “It is devastating news that a second person has lost their life following the events on Thursday.
