Hold on to your seats folks, because Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike just made a bold statement that’s shaking up the political scene! During a media chat in the bustling city of Port Harcourt, the fiery Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain declared that he doesn’t need the Nigeria Police Force or Nigerian Army to rig any election.
Rumors were swirling about the just concluded presidential, national assembly, governorship, and house of assembly elections in Rivers State, but Wike put all the speculation to rest with his candid remarks. This man knows what he wants, and he’s not afraid to speak his mind!
It’s clear that Wike is a force to be reckoned with in the political arena, and his no-nonsense approach is sure to make waves in the coming months. Whether you agree with him or not, you have to admire his honesty and his determination to succeed on his own terms. One thing’s for sure – we’ll be keeping a close eye on Governor Wike as he continues to make his mark on the Nigerian political landscape.
“Why would I need the Police to rig an election, why would I need the Army? It is only those that have not been able to offer anything that is dependent on security agencies to help them rig elections. I don’t need it,” Wike said.
Shehu Sani Rages Against Attack on Kano Singer’s Home: “This Cannot Stand!
Hold on to your hats, folks, because this news story is a doozy! Shehu Sani, a big-time player in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has come out swinging against the brutal attack on Kano singer Dauda Kahutu Rarara’s residence.
According to Gidi Trends, a bunch of no-good thugs set Rarara’s house on fire just hours after the governorship candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) was declared the winner of the Kano State election. Rarara, who’s a supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and tight with Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, had been involved in the APC rallies during the governorship campaign.
A witness on the scene, Yusuf Abdullahi, reported that the thugs stormed Rarara’s house and started wrecking everything in sight before lighting the whole place up like a matchstick.
Thankfully, the police were able to round up the riff-raff and put out the flames after a few false starts. But that didn’t stop Shehu Sani from expressing his outrage on Twitter. Despite having different political views from Rarara, Sani made it clear that the attack on the singer’s home was totally uncalled for and downright despicable.
